C0022 - Logatec - The War Museum Logatec
Text description
The War Museum Logatec is probably one of the best if not the best war museums in Slovenia. The displayed artefacts represent the military history and heritage of Slovenes from the stone age through the Middle Ages, World War I, World War II and finally the Slovenian War of Independence.

The museum boasts a collection of more than 2,800 displayed decorations of all kinds and more than 800 Austro-Hungarian war badges, which is the largest such collection in Slovenia. Among the items are also very rare cockades of the Slovenian Army 1918-1919 and the original signature of General Rudolf Maister.
