Text description
An Austro-Hungarian inscription plaque above the entrance to the cavern of the Maschinengruppe III/7. A concrete plaque was built in above the most northern entrance of the horseshoe shaped Austro-Hungarian cavern. Above the plaque was probably placed a wooden cross. The cavern was plastered inside, so some locals are convinced that in it was the military hospital.
The cavern was built in July 1917 by the men of the 3rd Machine-Drilling Group under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel Kepes. The group belonged to the 7th Austro-Hungarian Army Corps.
The name of Captain Minaøik can also be found on one of the plaques, which is built in above the entrance in the Loisl Cave.

The cavern is situated on a small height south from the road Kostanjevca - Novelo, about 190 m before the first houses in the village of Novelo.
