A0032 - Kopriva - Boroevic's Monument
Text description
In front of the parish church in Kopriva on the Carso stands a monument, for which the locals are claiming was erected in honour of General Svetozar Boroevic, the Commander of the Austro-Hungarian 5th Army.

After the occupation of the Primorska region (the Littoral) the Italians re-shaped and re-built the monument and removed any possible inscriptions, therefore we can only guess today who built it and whom it was dedicated.

Today the monument contains the list of locals who were killed in the war. Their names were carved on the monument after the end of the First World War.
